NATA measures the skills and knowledge of the candidates through the specific field. They check the cognitive skills, logical reasoning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills through the test. They check the visual perception of the candidate besides the learning.

Some so many candidates have been preparing for this exam for many years. The council of architecture recently released the syllabus for NATA 2022 on the official website. No candidates can check the detailed information regarding NATA 2022 syllabus.

 

Syllabus For Mathematics:

  • Logarithms: The general properties of Logarithms and change of base.
  • Algebra: A description of AP and GP, general term, Arithmetic series, and sum, relation. Geometric progression and infinite series.
  • Trigonometry: Trigonometric functions like subtraction and addition, general equation of trigonometry, a formula for multiple and submultiple angles. Trigonometric and inverse trigonometric function and properties.
  • Matrices: scalar & vector multiplication of matrices, matrices operation, transpose of matrices, and determinants. Find the area of the triangle, Minor, cofactors, adjoint of matrices, and inverse of matrices.
  • Coordinate geometry: Formula on distance, section, and area of the triangle. Learn the condition of collinearity of a plane. Transformation of cartesian to polar coordinates. Parallel transformation of axes and the elementary questions on the locus. Learn the slope of the line and the angle between them.

 

The geometrical coordination of parallelism and perpendicularity are of 2 lines. Finding the lines and points of intersection between 2 points. The general second equation of degree X. Equations on circle and center, radius. Equation of tangent and normal chord for two intersecting circles.

  • Calculus: Everything about Function and its inverse function, limit & continuity, chain rule, derivative, the derivative implicit function derivative, and the reverse process of differentiation. The indefinite integral of standard function and integration by parts.

 

  1. Integration by partial fraction and substitution.
  2. Theory of Fundamental integral calculus with applications.
  3. Definite integral with the solution of homogeneous differential equations.
  4. Theory of first-order differential equations and separation of variables.

 

  • Statistics & probability: Learn the theory of mean, standard deviation, variance, and frequency distribution. Learn all the Rules for addition & multiplication probability. The rules of Bayes’ Theorem & Conditional probability. Binomial distribution & events.
  • Permutation & combination: Finding the permutation of n different things. Permutation with repetitions, Basic properties, the combination of N things, and problems involving permutation and combinations.
  • Application of calculus: Condition of normal and tangents, Maxima and minima rules, monotonicity of determination, Coefficient rate of the differential equation, Straight line motion with the constant acceleration, Geometric interpretation, calculating the area bounded by the elementary curves, Area and region between the two elementary lines.
  • Coordinate geometry and dimensional: Learn the distance rules between the 2 points and problems on the section formula. The equation for straight-line & plane, direction, and ratio and the distance of the point from a plane.

 

Syllabus For Physics:

  • Electrostatics: Electrostatic potential & electric charges for capacitance. Magnetic and electrostatic effect of magnetism and current, Moving magnetism charges.
  • Electromagnetic induction: Alternating currents & induction, Current optics, optical instruments, and ray optics, Dual nature of wave optics radiation and Atoms, Nuclei.
  • Semiconductor: Materials, electronics semiconductors and devices, and simple circuits.

 

Syllabus For Chemistry: 

  • Basic concepts of chemistry, including the structure of atoms and classification of elements.
  • Periodicity in properties and chemical molecular bonding.
  • State of matter, chemical thermodynamics, redox reactions, states of matter and gas, liquids.
  • Equilibrium and the basic principle of Hydrocarbons, Environmental chemistry.

 

Syllabus For General Aptitude: 

Mathematical reasoning: Logical operation, statements, and understanding the rules of tautology, contradiction, and contrapositive.

Sets & relations: Idea of set and subset, rules of the union, intersection, and difference of sets, Rules of Venn diagram, Relation, and its properties, De Morgan’s Laws, Equivalence relation. Interpreting the compositions pictorial, Analytical reasoning, and two-dimensional drawing.

 

Syllabus For Drawing Test: 

  • General awareness of national/international architects, shape, building forms, color texture, aesthetics.
  • Understanding of scale and proportion of objects, geometrical and abstract drawing pattern, union, rotation, and rules for subtraction.
  • Learn to create 2D and 3D shapes and forms.
  • Sketching and perspective drawing.
